 Green Grid UK TM

Whilst our new website is under construction please be assured all Green Grid UK's services are running as normal.

We provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for commercial and domestic properties, our service is delivered by licensed professionals who are able to work discreetly and in doing so cause minimal disruption to your day.

As part of this commitment Green Grid Uk is the first EPC provider to offer "Night Assessments".  These assessments are undertaken out of regular office hours and so can be arranged to take place throughout the night.

How is an EPC calculated?

The property’s performance is rated in terms of Energy Use (per square meter of floor area), Energy Efficiency (based on fuel costs), and Environmental Impact (based on carbon-dioxide -Co2 emissions).

An EPC will contain the current average costs for room heating, hot water heating and lighting in a property, as well as suggestions on how to cut costs with energy efficiency measures. The certificate does not consider ‘how’ a property is used so the running costs are based on set industry conventions (eg; heating the main room to 21c degrees, all other rooms to 18c degrees etc).

Commercial EPCs will look in more detail at the actual materials used for the build, this information will play a key roll in establishing the property's rating.
